We trust the Lord to bless your heart as you peruse these pages. When you click on the "About Us" Tab, you can read our Confession of Faith, the History of Capital City Baptist Church, and the Pastor's Biography (from the time of his and his wife's salvation until the present). When you select our "Contact and Directions" Tab, you will find a map of our location and how to contact us by telephone or you can e-mail us from that page. The "Services" Tab will give you informatoin as to the times of our services and the address of where we meet. You can also find directions to our church by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of that page. If you would like to learn of the missionaries whom we support, click on our "Missionaries" Tab (on the main Missionary Page, you can see "Our Featured Missionary of the Week"). Lastly, select the "Helpful Information" Tab and you will find on the left side of the page two choices - "Links" and "How to be Saved." If you choose the "Links" option, you will find links to other websites where you either read or listen to the Bible, find some good Christian resource material, and read the outlines of the sermons that Pastor Carter has preached since arriving at Capital City Baptist Church. You can listen to Pastor Carter's sermons if they have the word (Audio) to the right of the text reference. Please read the "How to be Saved" page. Nothing is more important than for one to be saved from their sin before they depart this life!

Yesterday's Worship Services at Capital City Baptist Church, were such a blessing - Pastor and Mrs. Carter were safely back from their vacation with their son, Bill III; all of our members were present; and Roland and Vera Mitchum were still with us. They have been here to fill in for the Carter's during their vacation. Again yesterday, Brother Mitchum preached for us in the Morning and Evening Worship Hours. He and Vera are praying about the possibility of moving to Victoria to assist Pastor and Mrs. Carter in this church and ministry. As yesterday was Mother's Day, Brother Mitchum preached on "Marriage" and "Motherhood." He chose to use Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, to deliver a wonderful and challenging sermon. We are continually trusting our Heavenly Father to build this church for His glory! It is our heart's desire is to see people being saved in Victoria and the surrounding area and for God to bring other believers our way. Please pray with us concerning this desire. Thanks again for your prayers for this ministry. Your prayers are very much appreciated. We also count it a privilege to pray for the salvation of souls and the growth of saints in your church. Thank the Lord that "...we are labourers together with God..." 1 Corinthians 3:9. We will continue to update you as God dispenses His blessings upon us.
